Award winning optometrist eyes up Oxford

"I'm going through the rather unusual experience of re-inventing myself when many friends are taking early retirement, but I love my job and helping kids with vision related learning difficulties achieve more.

Having sold the practice my late husband and I ran together in Cheltenham for 27 years, I am making a fresh start with my own small consultancy, purely concentrating on the Behavioural Optometry side of my work. Having decided that Oxford would be the perfect base, I approached a couple of opticians to see if I could rent a room but to no avail. So I tried to 'think outside the box' and came up with the idea of renting a serviced office.

Prama House was the first and only one I visited because it felt right straight away; I was made so welcome both by phone and in person. They've been handling my calls for a month or two already, and I'm excited to be starting there properly in September."
