Whether you want to recreate the iconic All American pinup or loose, beachy waves like above, every girl wants gorgeous hair without spending a fortune. Am I right?!

And that's where Suave comes in. I can remember my mom buying Suave products when I was a little girl -- shampoo, conditioner (well, we called it creme rinse then), hairspray and more. Why? Because even back then she knew then that Suave specializes in high quality haircare products at budget-friendly prices, just as they still do today.

Creating big, bouncy, beautiful curls like these is easy when you have the right tool and the right products. First you'll need a curling wand -- or in a pinch you can use a standard curling iron like a wand, but if at all possible, I recommend picking up an actual wand. I promise they're not as scary as they look, and it only takes a few curls to figure out how to use it properly.

As for products, I recommend starting with a shampoo and conditioner that add plenty of shine, like Suave Moroccan Shine Shampoo & Conditioner. Added bonus -- these smell absolutely amazing! You'll also want to pick up Suave Luxe Blow Dry Spray to add volume while blowdrying your hair and Suave Luxe Volume Hair Spray for additional volume and hold.

How To Create Beachy Curls

  1. Start by washing your hair with the Suave Moroccan Shine Shampoo & Conditioner.
  2. Apply Suave Luxe Blow Dry Spray and blow dry your hair until completely dry.
  3. To curl your hair, hold the curling wand upside down, as pictured above. Taking about a 1-inch section, wrap hair around once close to the base. Then, pulling the wand close to your head, continue wrapping the rest of the hair around and around to the tip. Hold for about 5 seconds, then gently release, allowing the spiral to keep its shape. Don't touch it again until it's completely cool. Continue until you've curled all of your hair.
  4. After you're done curling, mist all of the curls with Suave Luxe Volume Hair Spray. You can gently separate them, but don't comb or brush through them unless you'd prefer to have loose waves.
